About Us

The Company was started in the beginning of 1996 by me & my wife Monisha with a prime objective of serving inbound tour market into the Indian subcontinent & Domestic outbound market.

I stared working in the travel business in 1986 as a trainee & spent a good 10 - 11 years in learning all the aspects of the trade. During my decade long working I got an opportunity to travel all over the Indian sub - continent including Nepal / Bhutan & Sri Lanka. This travelling further helped me in pursuing my objectives since it gave me an immense opportunity to learn more about my country & our neighboring countries.

I have as well traveled extensively all over the Himalayan range as well & have leaded several commercial treks & climbing expeditions in the past decade & half.
We are among the foremost Tours operators in India and clients are predominantly from Europe & North America. We have been in the travel business for well over a decade and our services are manifold. Our office is situated in the suburbs of New Delhi, called Gurgaon and is located, 20 minutes drive from New Delhi’ s International Airport, far from the overcrowded New Delhi.
Apart from operating Tours that cover the entire Indian - continent, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, Sri Lanka, Maldives.
We also specialize in Adventure Holidays, which as you know Include Trekking, Mountain climbing expeditions, Mountain Biking Tours, Overland Himalayan Safari, Desert safaris, Special Event / Festival Tours are among various other activities that we indulge in.
We are the only 6th Company is India to be granted a special recogintion by the Department of Tourism Government Of India as a Specialised Adventure Tour Operator last year!!!!!!
Over the years we have constantly worked on new and innovative programs for our partners - agents world-wide and have ensured that all our customers return back happy and overjoyed with their experiences on the Indian sub - continent.
The company has its registered office in Delhi at A - 310, Defence Colony - New Delhi - 24 & its corporate heed office is located at 853, sector - 4, Gurgaon - 122001, in a suburb of Delhi.

This office is a field operation ‘s office & it caters to all our Adventure Holidays for the state of Ladakh-Himachal & Garhwal. We have also have our equipment base store here. This office is headed by:

Leh office: This is one of our joint collaborations, under the name of Footprints India, since we being a Delhi based company & we have to tie up for certain ground handling arrangements with local office in Ladakh :

All Treks & any kind of Adventure activities any where in the Himalayas are directly run- operated by us & not sublet to any local agency under the able guidance of our English speaking Qualified Mountain Guides. This primarily for us to keep our very high standards at all times which for the moment no other company in India can match.
Apart from the branch offices, India Insight Tours has a network of associates all over the country, it is a country wide network spread all across the country, specially cities visited by tourists. These associates act on our behalf in providing services to all our clients as requested on our vouchers such as meeting & assistance at respective airports - railway stations - hotels, providing local guides for sightseeing’s, transport services, reconfirmation of hotels, airline tickets & any other services related travel & as requested by clients.
